360-Degree-Real-Time-Video-by-Doo-Technologies

FAQ

Q: Is the system limited to day vision?
A: The system is compatible with day, low light and Infrared.
Q: How many sensors are required to provide a full 360 degree video image?
A: Day vision can be from two sensors to eight sensors in 640x480 at 25, 30, 60 or 90fps (24 bits). Night vision (IR) can be from two sensors to eight sensors in 640x480 25, 30, 60 or 90fps (8 bits).
Q: How are the sensors configured?
A: The sensors can be positioned back to back or separated to meet the individual requirements.
Q: Do you manufacture the cameras?
A: DOO Technologies is a software company specializing in optoelectronic technology. The company can work with your preferred choice of hardware vendor, or introduce you to a company that will fulfill your specific hardware requirements.
Q: What is the size of system?
A: The system can be applied to multiple applications from small light weight helmet mounted systems to ground vehicles and buildings.
Q: PROCESS. Do you mean Stitching?
A: Our technology does not involve image stitching. The Process integrates synchronization of the multiple sources then collectively channels the sources into one stream. The stream is then encoded with any compression or algorithm such as MPEG2, H.264 or MPEG4, delivering a seamless 360 degree image.
Q: What is required to make the PROCESS work?
A: The PROCESS is hosted on a PC or FPGA. With FPGA the full process is integrated onto the camera motherboard thus reducing size, weight and maintenance of the hardware.
Q: How is the stream transmitted?
A: The stream can be transmitted using wire or wireless transmission. Wireless transmission can be microwave, Wi-fi, Wi-max, 3G or satellite.
Q: Can the transmission be intercepted and displayed?
A: The signal is a standard video stream designed to be incomprehensible if intercepted by a non authorized system.
Q: How can the software be purchased?
A: The software is by license agreement. Each system is designed to meet individual requirements. The license agreement is based on the individual requirements and integration of the technology.
